Manufacturing Process

Step 1

Wire Drawing & Mesh Weaving

Aluminium wire drawn and woven or welded into mesh panels as per standard specifications.

Step 2

Surface Cleaning

Mesh panels degreased and cleaned with alkaline wash to remove oils, oxides and surface contaminants before coating.

Step 3

Chemical Pre-treatment

Chromate or chrome-free conversion coating applied to enhance adhesion and provide a corrosion-inhibiting base layer.

Step 4

Powder Application

Electrostatically charged powder paint is sprayed onto the mesh, ensuring uniform coverage on all wire surfaces and intersections.

Step 5

Curing Oven

Coated mesh passes through a curing oven at 180–200 °C for 15–20 minutes, fusing the powder into a smooth, hard film.

Step 6

Inspection & Packaging

Coating thickness (60–80 μm), adhesion, and colour uniformity checked per panel; salt spray tested; rolls or sheets packaged for dispatch.
